Bodegas Hnos Pérez Pascuas, Winner of the Prestigious Award for Tourism Excellence in Wine Tourism in Ribera del Duero, by La Razón at the XIII Edition of the Tourism Awards
The ceremony was held on July 3, at the Real Casa de Correos in Puerta del Sol, Madrid. The event was hosted by Roberto Brasero, a journalist from Antena 3, along with Francisco Marhuenda, director of La Razón, and Mariano de Paco Serrano, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Sports of the Community of Madrid. The award was received by the winery’s co-founders and owners, brothers Manuel and Adolfo Pérez Pascuas, and Juan de la Vega, CEO of Viña Pedrosa.
This recognition highlights our winery’s commitment to promoting wine tourism and excellence in Ribera del Duero, one of the most important wine regions in Spain. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication that our family and team have invested in offering unique and high-quality wine tourism experiences.
Recognition of Effort
Wine tourism is fundamental to Bodegas Hermanos Pérez Pascuas, as it allows visitors to understand the process and feel the essence of our wines through an unparalleled tourist experience, thanks to a close-knit and familiar team. “We enjoy and take pleasure in making every visitor feel at home in our winery,” says Juan de la Vega. “We want visitors to learn about our history, the vine’s lifecycle, and the process behind every bottle of Viña Pedrosa, and, above all, to enjoy our wines.” Our facilities are accessible and ready to welcome visitors from around the world.
One of the biggest challenges in the wine sector is attracting new generations and making wine an integral part of Spanish culture. Wine tourism plays a crucial role in this mission, as “it is essential for young people and future generations to experience the world of wine as part of this country’s culture, enjoying it with family and friends, creating good memories, and always encouraging moderate consumption,” says Juan de la Vega.
We have been offering wine tourism for over 25 years. Our facilities include a reception area, physical store, social lounge, tasting room, and a pine forest area for outdoor tastings, a highly demanded option since the pandemic.
