Viña Pedrosa Crianza 2020 changed its image, and now, it is the turn of Viña Pedrosa Reserva 2019.
At Bodegas Hnos. Pérez Pascuas, we have been working for more than 40 years to offer a product of the highest quality. Our experience is the key to success: we have learnt to do not forget where we came from, to respect our land, our values, our origin… The importance of keep on tradition and, at the same time, beeing able to take risk, innovate, taste and correct when necesary. This is how we improve year after year, make each vintage even better than the previous one, and we do it maintaining our style, with the aim of achieving excellence.
Our wines reflect our own philosophy, and we want that their image do it as well. This is the reason we are presenting this new label, restyling it and adapting it to the new age, but always keeping the style. We did it with Viña Pedrosa Crianza 2020 and we are doing it again with Viña Pedrosa Reserva 2019.

The 2019 vintage in Ribera del Duero obtained the highest rating of “excellent”.
La cosecha 2019 la recordaremos siempre como una “gran cosecha”, parece que se cumplirá la regla de los “nueves”, que es que todas las cosechas terminadas en nueve han sido excepcionales.
El ciclo de la vid ese año se caracterizó por un invierno muy frío y seco que retrasó el brote de la vid, seguido de un verano caluroso y muy seco, pero con cambios bruscos de temperatura entre el día y la noche, que junto a las lluvias de finales de verano ayudaron a equilibrar la maduración de la uva.
Tras 24 meses en barricas de roble francés y americano, Viña Pedrosa Reserva 2019 se caracteriza por ser un tinto elegante y de largo recorrido. Se presenta amplio, goloso, carnoso, con una excelente estructura y con gran concentración de taninos nobles y envolventes.
Y, es que, creemos que es difícil hablar de la Ribera del Duero sin hacer mención a este tinto, un clásico elaborado por una de las bodegas que fundó su Consejo Regulador.
